What is the reason for all the additives in cigarettes?
sorry about the money thing, but honestly, that car isn't a great investment. You're probably looking at about $100 or so. Sounds to me like one of the wipers came loose at the cowl and didn't move out of the way of the other, this binding would've caused that rod to break because they're not built to handle much stress (heaven forbid they wiegh and extra couple of ounces!) anyway, sorry your scared of mechanics too, a few bad ones out there make the rest of us look like jerks
The answer is the bottom line of the tobacco companies. If they can make it harder for you to quit by making their product more addictive through additives, then they'll get more of your money. They could care less about your health. If you must smoke, change to a brand that is all-natural and additive-free like American Spirit or Nat Sherman.
flavor and ADDICTIVENESS. there are almost SIX HUNDRED OF THEM! Some ingredients are added for flavor, but research has shown that the key purpose of using additives is to improve tobacco’s potency resulting in increased addictiveness–and the additives they choose to use are dreadful They found that a chemical similar to rocket fuel helps keep the tip of the cigarette burning at an extremely hot temperature, which allows the nicotine in tobacco to turn into a vapor so your lungs can absorb it more easily. Or how about ammonia? Adding ammonia to cigarettes allows nicotine in its vapor form to be absorbed through the lungs more quickly. This, in turn, means your brain can get a higher dose of nicotine with each inhalation.
Time for a new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1) It probably happened when it was tangled. 2) I would go to a junk yard and pick up an wiper arm. They are usually just held on by a nut. I don't know your car's exact specs but that is a safe bet that it is held on by a nut or a tourqx screw.
They are in there to keep you smoking. Get you hooked. Don't waste your money. Never smoke.
