What is the resin PP material?
Because the PP temperature of homopolymer is more than 0C, it is very brittle, so many commercial PP materials are random copolymer of 1~4% ethylene or block copolymer with higher ratio of ethylene content.
It is polypropylene resin, and PP is a semi crystalline material. It is harder than PE and has a higher melting point.
Copolymer type PP material has lower thermal distortion temperature (100C), low transparency, low gloss and low rigidity, but has stronger impact strength. The strength of PP increases with the increase of ethylene content. PP VEKA softening temperature is 150C. Because of its high crystallinity, the surface stiffness and scratch resistance of this material are very good.
