i am researching copper and am trying to get a good scientific description of copper. not just a crappy "it's shiny" answer, but a real good answer.
They are not convinced. This would require logic and reason. Science is convinced that the Big Bang theory is correct because of the evidence. Christians operate on a completely different level. They believe and have faith. They do not think. They are convinced of nothing. Logic and reasoning is not a part of their ability to make sense of the world. They eschew logic and reason for authority and tradition. It is blind faith they have and not conviction. If we must use the word conviction, one is a conviction of faith and the other a conviction of logic. These things are quite different and while we use a common language to discuss them, there is little in common with the language we use.
Copper is a highly efficient conductor and similarly a highly efficient thermal conductor. Due to its electron band configuration, electrons are highly mobile. Covering these two properties should be enough for any report or paper. Because of its properties, copper is often used in wiring and cookware.
Not as good as gold or silver but still a great conductor. What I mean is gold is a really great conductor because it stays pure. It doesn't oxidizes. However silver and copper does. Silver is only a little better at ionizing then copper, it might have one less valence electron then copper does. That and copper is a lot cheaper to use and produce.
