Usually an overhead line, a very small number of lines (or some of them) is a cable line
Transmission lines generally refers to 110kV and above power lines.
As the name implies, the transmission is by the power plant or power center regional power grid (sending end), to the load center power grid (by the end) of the transmission of electricity; power distribution is to be distributed by the substation or bus power down.
Distribution equipment is generally referred to as the distribution lines and distribution substations (usually 35kV and below).
