Question:

What is wrong with my boiler?

I have just put the hot water on in my bath to have a bath and the boiler is igniting but no hot water is coming through. It is coming through in the kitchen hot water tap though....what is worng with my boiler??

Answer:

check the water pressure on the boiler if it is a combi boiler normlly it should be between 1.5 and 2 if it is lower than that read the manual and increase the pressure carefully or call an engineer
If you are getting hot water in the kitchen then there is nothing wrong with the boiler. I think the problem is in the bath control faucet. Most newer baths are equipped with an anti-scald valve which I think may need re-adjustment or repaired. Get the name off of the valve and ask at Home Depot/Lowes as how to adjust it.. The valves are designed to keep the water from getting too hot. It is a small adjustment.
You say the boiler is igniting, so I assume it also keeps going out and possibly relighting? Mine kept doing that, and it turned out to be a sensor which was easily replaced.
Your pipes might be freezing.
you ought to be waiting to coach gross negligence right here to get any reimbursement for an installation that's 4 years previous. I somewhat have a splash worry with what the plumber has stated approximately it being some days faraway from blowing you up. i can not understand how a flue difficulty may well be waiting to blow you up. Kill you with carbon monoxide specific, yet blow you up? uncertain for my area. So from right here the plumber's statements are suspect. he's probable good some flue difficulty yet I somewhat have situation with putting blame with a assertion i think of is suspect. no longer that obtaining killed with the help of a blocked flue isn't extreme. i'm in basic terms asserting you ought to be very careful to be appropriate if attempting to coach negligence. Get yet another opinion in case you will attempt to circulate after the installer.
