Question:

what kind of metals are found in an integrated circuit?

what kind of metals are found in an integrated circuit?

Answer:

usually aluminum, gold, copper, tin/antimon alloys metals like lead and berylium are pretty much gone due to ROHS ! Berylium oxide was used for high power packages because it conducts heat better than regular ceramic, gold is used for metalization on the die as well as for bond wires altough many integrated circuits unless they are for RF use aluminum bondwires (lower cost ) copper is normally used for the frame and the pins both which are plated with a tin antimon alloy
