Question:

What makes clothes nonflammable???

How do they make clothes/anything unable to ignite?orWhat properties or materials are/aren‘t used to make them nonflammable?

Answer:

Nonflammable synthetic clothing made from aromatic polyamide like Twaron, and other difficult to ignite clothes from glass or Modacrylic fibers. Wool and silk are difficult to ignite too. Ignition is not the only that matters. Melting on our skin is the second parameter, so polyester fibers are difficult to ignite but melt. Flammable cloths are cotton, linen etc.
rayon is notorious for being very flammable.
