What material are snowboarding pants made out of? Nylon or polyester? I saw one I like but its made of poly?
Well, generally you are going to have more than one material. I see most shells made out of nylon, and many linings are made out of polyester, I'd say if it's a poly shell, I probably wouldn't purchase it, however I've never owned a pair of pants with a polyester shell.
Probably both, but the really strong pants are made from that ballistic nylon or at least have that stuff at the knees and the seat. I see a lot of pants that feel thin or have a cotton / cloth feel and I assume many of those are actually nylon or poly, but I don't know how well those wear. Good Luck
