Question:

What material does the tape belong to?

I have just entered the chemical industry, we are producing conductive tape and the like tape, I want to know what these materials belong to. Because I want to look for material information, understand the use of materials, performance, and the like, so that I can know more about my industry. Thank you

Answer:

The tape includes two parts of substrate and glue, plastic substrates such as BOPP membrane, PET membrane (polypropylene film) (polyester film); paper such as textured paper, kraft paper, etc.; there are other such as aluminum foil, copper foil, etc..
Conductive adhesive tapeThe conductive adhesive tape is a kind of high conductive metal foil with adhesive or conductive fabric, conductive adhesive of the conductive body and the conductive substrate to form a complete, can be used with any metal surface bonding, electrical closed electric lap and gap. Shielded conductive tapes are economical and easy to use shielding materials. It is used to seal the EMI shield chamber, the joint of the shell and the electronic equipment, to shield the winding cable, to provide a reliable grounding surface, and to provide electric contact to the surface which can not be welded,
Glue has acrylic glue, rubber glue and organosilicon glue.Apply the glue to the base and dry it to make the tape.
