AMD bulldozer fx 8150 AMD raedon 7970 with a few slots for hard drives I'm going to combine them with raid 0 but I haven't decided how many or how much memory

If you're willing to splurge $600 dollars on a video card I would go with an intel mobo/cpu solution. Although AMD is the cheaper solution, you can get a much better intel cpu for a little more. I suggest going with the 2500k or the 2600k, and an z68 or x79 socket motherboard, capable or dual raid configuration. Memory wise, go for 8 or 16 gb, it's the cheapest it has been ever.
