electric keyboard that runs out of battery all the time? orsell the keyboard and get a piano?
I like pianos better than keyboards just in general because there is a wide range in dynamics but if you just want something to play around with and you are not going to get serious I would stick with the keyboard
It depends on what your using it for, if just for home use then piano, if your bringing it to different place a keyboard would be much easier. The thing is a normal piano can have the volume louder by hitting the keys harder while the keyboard you got to adjust the volume. Although it is mainly your choice.
It depends on what you are going to be using it for. If you are just doing it for piano, then get a normal piano. At least, that would be my personal option. Compared to a keyboard, a piano is able to bring out different volumes to different keys, unlike the keyboard, which has less variety of expression. If you were to use it for sound effects, drums, guitar, etc, you should get a keyboard. It has tons of sound effects, depending on what kind you might be getting, not to mention lots of other options. Good luck on your search. :-)
Piano!!!! Deffinatley. I am a 15 year old diploma piano player and trusts me a piano is way better than a key board - I find it extremely difficult to play a keyboard which sounds so weird but it's true! Pianos are far better as your getting a better sound tone and texture, keyboards I find restrict this and by all have pedals which is also a downside. I don't know what it is about keyboards but I really don't like them - you will be way more satisfied with a piano even though it will cost more but it is deffinatley worth the money!
Piano's are generally, in fact always my personal preference. Let me elaborate: I'd like to make it clear that keyboards do not have weighted keys. This may sound like a minor inconvenience at first; however if you are seriously considering Music then the Piano is the best option. If you have been practicing on a keyboard then it will prove a major issue when you come to play at a recital. Additionally, it can be said that the Piano has two more octaves (I think) therefore if you're interested in Classical Piano, which is what it seems like, then you should ideally consider the Piano. In conclusion, it's up to you. I don't personally have knowledge of your playing style and what genre you are interested in. I would assume it was Classical because you have asked in this category; however who's to say that Y/A supposedly picked the right category and you trusted them with this category. Either way I wish you luck. Music is great isn't it? Thank you.
