Tradition says lemon, but the lime now dominates. Does the lime drown out or compliment the gin?
Fresh Bay scallops(the small ones) are firm and have a great ceviche texture. Soaked in lime juice for 2 hours. mixed with Tomato fresh jalapino and cilantro. Onion also. Use the same quantities you use for Tilapia. But yields a firmer end result.
Shrimp Cocktail 1 ? lbs Salad Shrimp 1 lbs Large Shrimp 1 ? lbs Imitation Crab Salad 3 cans Gordon’s chopped or minced clams 1 bunchCilantro 1 Cucumber 6 bigGreen Chilies 6 bigYellow Chilies 5Serrano Chilies 2-4 Avocados 1 largeOnion (chopped) 1 largeTomato 6 Lemon’s (Juiced) 6 Limes (Juiced) 24 ozBottle of Ketchup Fill Ketchup bottle twice with water and put in bowl with everything. Pepper and Garlic salt to taste. Make sure tails are off shrimp and put in large bowl, add lemon and lime juice to cook shrimp while you are getting everything cut up and ready. Approximately 30 minutes. When shredding the Imitation crab it helps to keep water running on it while you shed with finger tips. Add everything to bowl and refrigerate for best taste. We eat this with Saltine Crackers and Tapatio hot sauce. We hope you LOVE it like we do.
