I'm looking to buy a new computer and I'm not sure which one is faster and if it will be good for the long run.
Will the bulldozer one is a good cpu especially on paper, but real world tests, from benchmarks to real world gaming has shown that the i5 2500K can out beat it. AMD used to kick Intel's butt on the gaming end, but AMD is now going the user and server class cpu routes, not the gaming routes. Heck even some of AMD's older Phenom II cpu's outbeat the 8150 and 8120. Intel 2500K is probably your best bet. Cost to performance.
For gaming, I would go with the i5-2500k. I'd suggest the newer model, i5-3570k
