Need a new boiler and I'm debating between Oil and propane. Main concerns are initial cost, vs. cost to run. Any experts out there?
Running costs at the moment are probably not very far apart but gas boilers are generally cheaper to buy and install and are cleaner. Also more flexibility of installation sites with regards to flueing. Fuel tanks, some companies supply them free and others charge so shop around for both and get some installation prices and compare fuel suppliers prices.
