What's the difference between screw compressor and ordinary air compressor?

Answer:

Piston oilless lubrication air compressorIn the oil-free lubricating air compressor, the filling in the piston ring and filling device of the cylinder is filled with self lubrication PTFE as the sealing element. Therefore, the air cylinder and the filling device need not be injected with lubricating oil, and under normal circumstances the compressed gas is basically pure without oil pollution, and no oil removal device needs to be added. The disadvantages of the machine are that the power of the motor is too large, the exhaust pressure is not stable enough, the exhaust temperature is high, the noise is too large, the overhaul workload is great, and the maintenance cost is high.
The main components of screw air compressor are screw head, oil and gas separation barrel. The screw head is aspirated by the suction filter and the intake air control valve. At the same time, the oil is injected into the air compressor chamber to cool and seal the nose, and to lubricate the screw and bearing. The compression chamber generates compressed air. After the compression, the oil gas mixture is discharged into the gas separation barrel. Most of the oil is separated from the oil and gas mixture due to the mechanical centrifugal force and the gravity force. After the air is made of borosilicate glass fiber core barrel of oil and gas separation, almost all of the oil mist is separated. The oil separated from the oil and gas separation cylinder is returned to the screw head through the oil return pipe. An oil filter is arranged on the oil return pipe, and the oil is filtered back to the screw head after filtering through the oil filter. When the oil is separated, the compressed air passes through the minimum pressure control valve, leaving the oil pump and into the rear cooler. The cooler cools the compressed air back into the storage tank for use by the gas unit. The condensed water is concentrated in the gas tank and is discharged by an automatic drainer or by hand.
Screw type air compressor screw type air compressor consists of screw head, motor, oil and gas separation barrel, cooling system, air conditioning system, lubricating system, safety valve and control system. The whole machine is installed in 1 boxes and is made of itself and placed directly on a flat cement floor without being fixed on the foundation with anchor bolts. Screw head is 1 kinds of biaxial displacement type rotary compressor head. 1 pairs of high precision main (positive) and secondary (negative) rotors are mounted horizontally and in parallel to the inside of the case. The main (positive) rotor has 5 teeth, while the secondary (negative) rotor has 6 teeth. The main rotor diameter is large, and the minor rotor diameter is small. The teeth are spiral in shape, and the two meshes with each other. The ends of the main rotor and the auxiliary rotor are respectively supported and positioned by the bearing. When the motor through the coupling (or belt) directly with the main rotor, the rotor 2 is meshed with the main rotor directly drives the rotor to rotate the vice. The coolant is directly sprayed into the rotor engagement part by a nozzle at the lower part of the compressor housing and is mixed with the air to remove the heat generated by the compression so as to achieve cooling effect. Simultaneously, the liquid film is formed to prevent direct contact between the rotor metal and metal and to close the clearance between the rotor and the casing. The injected coolant also reduces the noise caused by high speed compression.
Piston type oil-free air compressor piston type oil-free lubrication air compressor consists of compressor main engine, cooling system, regulating system, lubricating system, safety valve, motor and control equipment. The compressor and motor are fastened on the base by bolts, and the machine base is fixed on the foundation with anchor bolts. When the motor through the coupling of direct drive crankshaft drives the connecting rod, crosshead and piston rod, the piston reciprocates in the cylinder of the compressor, complete suctioncompression discharge process. The machine is a double acting compressor, that is, the piston moves up and down, with air inhalation, compression and discharge.
