Question:

What's the difference between stainless steel 301 and 302?

What's the difference between stainless steel 301 and 302?

Answer:

302 - 304 with corrosion resistance, due to the relatively high carbon intensity.
300 series - chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel301 - ductility is good for molding products. It can also be rapidly hardened by mechanical processing, with good weldability. The abrasion resistance and fatigue strength are better than 304 stainless steel.
Type of stainless steel components can be divided according to Cr (400 Series), Cr Ni system (300 Series), Cr Mn Ni (200 Series) and the precipitation hardening systems (Series 600).
