Question:

What's the relationship between solar energy materials and solar cells?

What's the relationship between solar energy materials and solar cells?

Answer:

There are solar cells made of many different kinds of materials, for example: Silicon thin film, compound semiconductor thin film and organic thin film shape, hundreds of compound semiconductor thin film shape and non crystalline shape (a-Si: H, a-Si:H:F, a-SixGel-x:H) III V family (GaAs, InP), II VI (CDS) and zinc phosphide (Zn3P2).
There are many kinds solar cell materials which are used in producing the solar cells, such as: single crystal silicon, polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon, gallium, indium, selenium, copper, etc.
Solar cells are used for the direct conversion in changing the light energy into electrical energy. At present, a large number of terrestrial photovoltaic systems are actually made by silicon solar cells, which can be divided into silicon, polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon solar cells.
The solar cells can be divided into different categories based on the different kinds of solar materials which are used to produce the solar cells.
Solar cells are made by the solar energy materials, which are actually basically silicon, a very developed and commonly used materials in the solar energy industry.
