The boiler in my house is leaking and the company send someone to try to fix it. The boiler was working before but now its worse than it was before, and the technician will not put it back the way he found it. He says he's afraid we will sue the company. What should I do?
Alright, let's break this down... The boiler was broken, the technician fixed, but now it's broken again and worse than the first time? How long ago were the initial repairs? How does the company warranty their work? Is this new problem the same as the first? Why would you want it put it back the way he found it when the way he found it was broken? What does the company say is the problem now; something new or a repeat of the first problem and what is needed to fix it? How old is this boiler? - it may be coincidence another problem has risen if it's old and past it's lifespan. So, in short, if they caused the new problem or won't warranty their work, then you should report them to the Better Business Bureau. You can also look into taking them to small claims court and get your money back for the first repair. You can also go a different company for repairs and get THEIR opinion as to what is wrong and what it takes to fix it.
Well if they refuse then sue.
Phone the company, if not sue
