Question:

What size are ceramic brackets? (for braces)?

Could someone please tell me what size they are, in real life? Like, perhaps 2 mm or something? And how much do they stick out from the tooth?

Answer:

The brackets vary in size depending on the tooth. Brackets for your central incisors (your two front teeth) are larger than those for the lateral incisors next to them, e.g., and brackets for your canines (the fang teeth) are larger still and might have hooks on them. They're usually 2-3mm wide, about 2mm tall, and 1.5-2mm thick. Those are only estimates, as brackets vary from company to company. The only thing you can say for certain is that the ceramic brackets are generally larger in most dimensions than their metallic counterparts. Metal brackets don't need to be as large to have the same strength as ceramic brackets, so they aren't as bulky.
not a clue so try asking somebody that actually wore braces or does wear braces.
