Question:

what size speakers in 2002 grand prix?

i have a 2002 pontiac grand prix gt with the bose sound system. i busted one of my rear speakers and now i just want to replace them all. first of all, how many speakers are in it? second of all what size is each speaker? thanks.

Answer:

Front Door: 5-1/4 Rear Deck: 4 Rear Deck: 6x9 Q. My Bose speaker is blown, can I replace it with any other speaker? A. In most cases it is not a blown speaker but a defective Bose amplifier. If you have done some troubleshooting and determined it is a defective speaker, it needs to be replaced with a Bose speaker. Most Bose speakers are one or two ohm. Aftermarket speakers are four ohm. Replacement with an aftermarket speaker will cause amplifier output power to drop in half or to one quarter. You will notice the difference in volume! Speakers are available directly from Bose $40 each for most vehicles over ten years old, (800)231-2673.
Pop the conceal off the speaker and unscrew bolts. If not there attempt from the trunk by potential of removing the textile masking the speaker section. not attentive to that style yet those are the two a thank you to get rid of audio device.
Alpine Type R 6x9 SPR-69 bass was classic six-by-nine. Tight, well balanced, taut and with nuance and ability to track even rich bass lines with a great melodic ability, quite removed from a crappy cheap subwoofer that can only go boomp boomp badly, let alone one of the new generation of Alpine’s shallow HAMR woofers (as seen in the new Euro demo Nissan Infiniti demo car!) that sound so fabulous. I love the swivelly tweeters and reckon that if on your rear shelf, you don’t attempt to point their output at the front of the car but rather work out some Newtonian angle-of-incidence stuff with your back window and spray the highs directly flat at the screen to the rear if you can to best distribute the high tones.
