dollar stores and other sources sell little plastic balls that you add to your dryer load. they cut down drying time and also reduce static cling on fabric as they tumble along with your clothes. just google antic static dryer balls and you'll get lots of options.
I have been researching healthier options. Adding white vinegar to your wash is supposed to be a static reducer.
add hair conditioner to the rinse cycle of ur wash. i did this once when i ran out of softener- used them on stockings and it worked pretty good! my dress didn't stick to me- just a thought!
Pipe is measured on the inside. 1 inch pipe will take a 1 inch dowel.
1 copper pipe is measured by inside diameter, so anything smaller than 1 would fit. 7/8 will probably be the biggest one you'll be able to find.
