eventually i would like to get some Albino Cory Catfish, but i‘ve read that sharp substrate causes injuries, can someone give me an example of a GOOD substrate to use besides sand? I currently have 4 guppies, 2 ghost shrimp in a 10 gallon tank. Any Answers are appreciated!

Corydoras can stand pH up to 8, so you can use dolomite or Carib sea Eco-complete, or crushed coral which raises pH to 7.6- 7.8, but you cant put them from an acid environment right into an alkaline one. It must be done gradually over several days. If you get crushed coral or eco complete substrate, test the ph before you buy before you buy your fish, use the slow drip method with the fish in a bucket and add an equal amount of the tank water to the water they came in. Le them stay in that overnight if you have a spare heater and air source, then add as much of your tank water the next morning. They should be ready to put in the higher ph tank by evening. Do not do this with Panda corys! they die from from much lesser .pH changes than that. I do not recommend using play sand for catfish, they wind up swallowing to much of it.
Iron deficiency is called anemia. If you truly are anemic (you will only know from a blood test) the doctor will prescribe you iron pills. Go to the doctor you can not self diagnose and no one on the internet can diagnose you either.
Rounded gravel would work fine, however Albino cory catfish are not suitable for a 10 gallon.
definite it extremely is only too lots. Neons require a minimum of 20 gallons, Cory cats require a minimum of 30, and the two might desire to be housed in communities of 6 or extra. The ghost shrimp and betta may well be high-quality in a 5.5 gallon tank, so I advise you detect a sparkling living house for the neons and cory cats or you've gotten a significant bio overload and kill each and all the fish.
