probably cleaning and mucking out stalls horse poop and other animal poop. Unless they are talking house keepeing

Sorry, but the only things I can think of are cleaning out the animal stalls and cleaning out the chicken coop. Both would include dealing with manure.
Well when empty the silo is sort of cleaned out and the gravity wagons kind of get swept down and emptied sometimes. There can be mowing around barns to keep the rats down, the milk house requires a lot of cleaning, the milk tank and the milkers are cleaned and sterilized, for our chicken houses, the feeders and waterers are cleaned before a new flock is placed, I'm not sure if that is what you mean or not.
