Question:

What types of cans are magnetic? Could you name some products?

I need to make a science crane that can carry something small.

Answer:

Any so-called tin can will be made mostly of steel and will be attracted by a magnet. Try a small can such as tuna or cat food (empty is best).
I use my front almost always, sometimes I don't hit the rear for weeks. The rear wheel CAN skid(stop) while the bike rolls at any speed , very scary. Try to do all of your braking before the turn, racers brake a lot but they're professionals.
This Site Might Help You. RE: Motorcycles, which brake to use? they say that the front brake is like 70% and the back is 30 (or maybe 60/40) but anyways, which one would you normally use to slow down? i would guess the back one would be slowing down and the front would be for full stops? i dont own a bike yet, but of course, im curious and doing.
If you lock up the rear brake, the back of the bike will slide out from underneath you. The brakes should be used together for slowing down as well as stopping. You should take a M.S.F. rider course to learn proper braking techniques and other valuable information to keep you alive and every ones insurance rates lower.
All known materials are in some sense magnetic, i think you mean ferromagnetism (such as the average refrigerator magnet). There are other types of magnetism such as diamagnetism and paramagnetism,Ect.
