what will happen to Ben if i feed him sodium hydroxide?

Answer:

If your of age, your best bet to fix your bike would be to find a source of income. It sounds like your dad is strict but he does have you striving for solid grades, which especially in sports, if you dont get your big break you need a fallback. And anyone getting into sports like moto X (i moutain bike excessively) will realise that on ur way to stardom, you need some way to make money to keep your bike runnin and gear up to par. Id say trade someone for a wheel, check out pawn shops, maybe even sell somethin to one to get the cash for the wheel if you cant work part time or somethin. Your dad probly isnt tryin to be a jerk, he just wants you to be realistic, just incase.
as a parent, i know you can't give your kid(s) everything they want. if he puts up a target for helping you, you'd better make that target or pay for it yourself (by getting a job etc). if you are that desperate, i'm sure you're willing to go a long way to get what you want. then again, i understand your love for mx, i have that too. hope you get back on the bike soon.
That's longview by green day, its on the album dookie. Good song
If you lived near me, I would get your bike up and running for free and teach you how to maintain it - I live near Chicago, IL. First things first. The bike is not running. Get some money together to fix it yourself. You cannot afford shop time (over $100 an hour), you need to learn to maintain and fix your bike yourself. You need to save up some money, from odd jobs, birthdays, Christmas, etc. Use that money to buy parts and a shop manual for your bike. Watch YouTube videos on how to fix what needs to be fixed. After you fix the rear tire (you can find used ones on , Craigslist, flea markets and yard sales). You will need to drain the gas tank, clean the carb, clean the fuel petcock and put in a new spark plug. Maybe your dad doesn't have mechanical skills and doesn't want you to find out. Maybe he is embarrassed. Stop asking him for help and do it yourself. It is obvious you are not going to get the support you think you need from home. You are going to have to take your own initiative and get what you want for yourself. This is actually a valuable lesson. No one and I mean no one, on this earth is ever going to hand you what you want. You have to go and get what you want yourself. After you get the manual, get the parts and get stuff up and running again, you should tell your dad thank you for teaching me how to be independent and self sufficient. Then show him what you did, what you learned and how you did what you did. Dad's love their children and to even suggest that he taught you something, by not teaching you, will make him happy.
