Thinking of building a barebones system or gaming. Flight simulators in high def graphics. What's a better chip? The 3rd gen i7 3770 3.4 or the AMD FX Bulldozer 3.8 4300?
Intel I7 3770 is a better CPU. I don't know how flight simulators use CPU.. Thanks!
The i7 will easily outperform the Bulldozer, but as the previous guy said, the i5 is a great choice, and would save you quite a bit of money.
the i7 by far as the intel core i cpus have hyperthreading meaning it will treat each core as a dual core enalng ur cpu to act like a quad core if ts dual core or 8 core if quad core etc. also each core performs faster on intel cpus then amds. however i would get the i5 mainly cuz even though it eint as good as i7 u may not make use of the power an i7 has even with gaming so save money and get the i5 and use the extra money for something else like a better graphics card
get the i5 3570k if your going to game. the i7 was made for crazy multitasking and video editing. take the 100 bucks you've just saved and get a better graphics card.
