Question:

Whats the best ANTI-THEFT system for a car? (Not just a car alarm)?

Something that would prevent someone from taking my car and driving away. Like Ravelco or Lojack but less expensive. Also not too cheap like a steering wheel lock. Any input is cool.

Answer:

The biggest difference between the Dolomite and Synergy shaft construction is that Easton uses kevlar in their design while Warrior doesn't. The benefit of kevlar is that it serves as a very effective dampening agent, so the vibration level on an Easton shaft is definitely less than a Warrior one. Otherwise, the two are very similar in shaft geometry and taper dimensions.
From what I've seen/heard it seems Warrior shafts are tapered; so as long as the blade you use for it is tapered as well (be it Warrior, Easton or Nike Bauer) you should be ok.
The factory installed systems, not the dealer installed after-market ones. The OEM systems incorporate fuel and ignition cut-off and now most vehicles have locator systems (GPS) with an annual subscription (like OnStar) Future generation vehicles will have technology to disable the vehicle remotely. The technology is already here. The sad part is that car thieves will still find a way.
yes they do drain batteries a littlebut as long as ur car's electrical system is in good working order u shud b fine. and wiring it correctly will require some parts removal/re-installation and what wud b teh point of a silent alarm??.i mean im sure u cud get 1 made up but wud cost u way more than a off the shelf and wat's the point? and u shdu b able to get an ok system for under 300u can get electric only system for around 50 bucksthey work only if a door/hood/trunk is opened and a light comes ongood luck
An alarm that pages the handset when the alarm is triggered. You can have an auto electrician run an ignition kill switch in a hidden area in your car. Or the simplest cheapest way is to remove the starter or fuel pump fuse, or both. Your car battery will still power the car alarm and most thieves will not want to spend the time make the car run. FYI, most cars have fuses under the dash and in the engine apartment.
