whats the thing that holds corn called?
the cob holders the ones that are in the shape of corn that you stick in the end :D
The corn is attached to the cob. It is enclosed by the husk. The whole thing is on the corn stalk.
Corn holders are the things we poke into both ends of the cob.
If you're talking about those little plastic/metal doohickeys you stick in each end, I think they're just called skewers or corn holders or something. (Just a guess since the husk and cob answers were thumbed down)
