Brady not gonna get anthor ring he already has enough
The passage of time is usually the best judge of an athlete's greatness. Ask this question ten years after he retires. An awful lot of QBs who never got to the Super Bowl are considered great by that measure.
Brady has the most playoffs wins of all time and will continue to add on to that. Peyton has the most playoff losses of all time and will continue to add on to that. That argument between the two is officially over. There was a few times that Drew Brees could have earned himself an MVP, but I think not having any MVPs at all really hurts his argument. I mean the only thing that he's done in his career that Brady hasn't done was throw for multiple 5,000 YD seasons, and Brady is sure as hell capable of having another 5,000 YD season. The way I see it, Tom Brady has the least number of flaws out of the three, and he's the best at covering his flaws up. You give him some rookies and injure his defense, and the Patriots are still a top 4 team. Bill Belichick deserves credit as well, but there is no way in hell that the Patriots beat the Saints, make a 24-0 comeback win against the Broncos, or get 12 wins without Brady.
I was on the fence before the Super Bowl...and if Manning and the Broncos had won it would of made it difficult for me to decide who was better. But after that debacle, its been put to rest for me. It is extremely rare that the Patriots have to play superb to make up for Brady having an off day.....and the Patriots never lost a huge game because Brady was awful. Obviously you can't say the same with Manning. Brees isn't even part of this discussion as far as Im concerned.
