I'm talking about a real nut crusher here lol. I like to put crushed almonds in my oatmeal. So I have a mallet that I use to crush up the almonds. I do this on a board on our kitchen counter, but my dad is concerned that hitting the almonds on the board like that will make cracks on the counter and mess up the grout. Do they sell a device that crushes nuts?

what about something called a nutcracker most people keep them as decoration, but they can also crack nuts you can get one at target and maybe walmart but target definetly has them especially around winter i don't know about now
they make small electric food processors or you can just get a small chopper ( its a glass jar type thing with a plunger type deal that you push down very fast to chop) you can get both of these pretty cheap at walmart or places like that ( got mine at a yard sale)
put the almonds in a plastic bag that seals, and make sure the air is out, then lay the bag on a cutting board and hit with the mallet, do this on the table or floor, rather than the counter top, and there won't be a mess, because the almonds will stay in the bag..and it doesn't take that hard of a hit to crush them..k? you can also throw them in a blender and crush them
