Question:

Where can I buy copper bars?

I tried ebay but people are trying to sell it at $13/lb excluding shipping According to LME, copper is at $3.50/lb. Is there any place I can get it at for that price?

Answer:

Just buy a COMEX contract and take delivery. That gives you 25,000 lbs at $3.50/lb. Are expereinecs like this teaching you anything about this silly game of investing in small quantities of metal? You haven't yet tried selling them. Copper is traded in 25,000 lb quantities. You can't just decie that you want a micro-market of 1 lb quantities and expect it to work the same.
Naw. You can buy it on Ebay for under $10.00 a pound delivered. You can buy 5000 wheat pennies for about 4 cents each delivered. There are 154 pennies worth of copper per pound not counting the zinc. That works out to about $6.16 a pound. And these are collectibles too.
