Bradley's hard chocolate candies that are super simple- you must start with the HIGHEST quality ingredients possibleAlso, I have prepared this candy recipe countless times with excellent results- using my small Presto deep fryer, with 1.5 cups of cooking oil already added to fryer( of course this will not be consumed- only for balanced heating!), I add 1.5 cups of organic granulated sugar to a stainless steel bowl and place bowl of sugar into the small amount of oil inside fryerYour bowl must be small enough to easily fit into fryer- plug in fryer and monitor and stir the sugar until all is liquid ( with my Presto this takes approx8 minutes )Unplug- remove bowl of liquid sugar and place near a large sheet of parchment paperTo the sugar add: -2 drops of maple extract,-2 drops of chocolate extract,-1 large tbsporganic, finely ground cocoa powder,-1 dash salt -2 tsp organic coconut oilUsing cordless drill with mixer attachment blend wellSpoon onto paper and cool
CHOCOLATE CANDY CAKE 2 cflour 2 csugar 1 tspsoda 1 cwater 1 cbutter 1/4 ccocoa 1/2 buttermilk 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 tspvanilla Chocolate Candy frosting (below) Combine water, butter and cocoa in sauce pan, bring to boil, stirring constantlyGradually pour over flour, sugar and soda that have been mixed togetherStir in buttermilk, eggs and vanillaPour into greased and floured 9 x 12 x 2 inch panBake 30 minutes at 350 degreesWhile warm, prick cake with meat forkSpread with Chocolate Candy frostingCHOCOLATE CANDY FROSTING: 1/2 cbutter 1/4 cplus 2 tbspevaporated milk 1/4 ccocoa 1 lbpowdered sugar, sifted 1 tspvanilla 1/2 cchopped nuts Combine butter, milk and cocoa in sauce panBring to boil, stirring constantlyRemove from heat; stir in powdered sugarAdd vanilla and nuts; stir until spreading consistencyPour over warm cake.
