trying to conduct a science experiment but i cant seem to find a solid piece of copper tubing with these specifications:3ft longinner diameter of 3-3.5in1/2 inch thickif anyone knows where i can get it then it would be very helpful thx.
You don't say how thick you want, but grey electrical conduit is pretty tough stuff. Any electrical supply will have this, and cut it to length too. If you have an unusual size you're looking for, try Tap Plastics (they have lots of stores). Sometimes I've found one size of pvc pipe that fits snugly inside the next smaller or larger size, too, and that gives you really thick walls as well. I'm only guessing, you don't give us too many clues what you're doing here.
So if your saying you need an inner diameter of 3 to 3.5 in. and wall thickness of 1/2 in you need solid round bar stock and have it drilled or bored to those specs. AKA machine shop Bob A J A machine shop SO CAL.
You won't find a copper tube with the measurments given. Copper tube is manufactured for the plumbing trade and for the sizes needed for domestic and commercial use. You can find this size in mild steel pipe.
