Question:

where can i find an online site that will show me the blueprints of a hydrogen fuel cell for home use?

i am trying to make my own fuel cell to convert my gasoline engine to hydrogen

Answer:

Oh there are alot of resources out there that explain how to do what you are asking. The real issue is economics/cost and availability of the hydrogen. See the list of sources and enjoy. (Most are for small demonstration fuel cells though). Timothy D. West Melbourne, FL
You can't. Or even if you could it wouldn't do you any good. You would need high tech manufacturing equipment costing far more than the fuel cell to make one. Just like the blueprints for a V8 engine would not be enough for you to make your own V8 engine. You would need a complete machine shop, and maybe a foundry too, costing FAR more than an engine to make an engine.
The question is, where will you get the million dollars and insane machinery to build one? Plus, where is the hydrogen coming from? Do you intend to produce it with the fuel cell? Because you can't really make or use hydrogen easily, except for combustion.
A 100% hydrogen conversion is impractical for DIY use. If you are prepared to have your combustion area ceramic lined and fit stainless steel valves, among other major modifications, then keep researching. If you want to go the same way I have, with supplemental hydrogen on demand, then check the link below. This is very easy technology to master, and surprisingly effective. With no modifications to your existing engine, you can achieve vastly improved economy, plus close to zero toxic emissions. It will take you the best part of a weekend, and maybe cost $100 to do yourself. Happy experimenting!
