usually you go to dmv and with your present license apply for motorcycle either endorsement or another license/see dmv they will give you the steps/need to buy motorcycle and get somebody to teach you how to ride it/best if you get smaller bike-250 cc and learn on that/buy good helmet/i have 1/2 helmet for years because of vision and hearing/get a good one/just figure out what your head is worth/
Laws are State Laws. Some states you take a wrien test. My state you need to prove you can ride at the secretary of states office.
