i suggest dwarven mines.all ores ar in there(except rune and blurite) there are two sides.Side A-tin,copper,iron.Side B-iron,coal,addy,gold,mith,tin,copper.i recommend this because there are two ways to get in.one from ice mountain and one from falador(house beside the party room)there is a bank nearby in fally so i suggest it.
If you can get into the mining guild, Falador bank is right nearby. Otherwise go to that mining cave in the same bit as the guild but on the other side of the gate.
It depends on your level, axe and combat level. If you've got a high mining level with the best axe you can use, then the best place is south-west of varrock - this is the one I used to get 70 mining (and no, I didn't power-mine). If you don't have a high mining level then it's best to use Al Kharid scorpian pits. You'll need a high combat here though, since the scorpians are aggressive. With the former you don't need a good combat level (mine was 3) - you just need to be able to avoid a mugger.
