does the ipod classic have external speakers as the ipod touches and iphones do? I also want to know if the iPod nano 6 gen and 7 gen each have external speakers? this information is not listed on the apple website and i cant find itplease help!
Why in the world? Because ear buds wreck you hearing, clog up your ear drum and make you deaf after years of use. A speaker integral on an ipod would let you place it in your pocket and listen to audible books and other downloads.
Why in the world would you want to listen to your music through such a tiny, crappy little speaker ?!?!?! why not just get some headphones? in fact i think all ipods come with a free pair of the white apple earphones. I actually upgraded to a more expensive pair but that's just me. If you are wanting to listen out loud then just get a stereo receiver and some speakers. Or even one of those cheap in a box speaker sets will sound way better and louder than a build in ipod speaker!! lol.

What do you mean by external speakers.? External speakers are earphones and all iPod have earphones. Probably, you've tried to mean internal speakers. iPod Classic have external speakers like earpods no internal speakers are included in it. And also, iPod nano 6 gen and 7 gen each have external speakers no internal speakers are there in both iPod nano 6th or 7th gen.
