Which is a better residential gas boiler? Slant Fin - Trinity?
I dont know anything about trinity, but I installed a slant-fin in my home two years ago. This is the second season for the boiler, and I am very satisfied. However, that is a short time frame to judge a boiler. Ask me in 20 years.. (just kidding) It was easy to install, is compact, pump is very small and oil-less, the unit is quiet, heats up the house quickly. That is all I can tell you. Of course the re-configuring of the pipes and making the connections is where the labor is extensive. It took my brother and I about 12 hours to complete 100%. Neither he or I are plumbers or HVAC tradesman, but both of us are handy. I hope this helps.
