thinking of buying sweater of one of the above. help me decide please. what are the pro and cons of each?
Scientifically speaking, nylon has greater strength than wool and so the blend will have more strength than pure lambswool. This translates into greater resistance for wear and tear, especially for long term use. Now nylon is not as warm or insulating like lambswool and hence the blend may be a tad less warm. Merino wool is more smoother and less prickly on the skin than lambswool and hence preferred by some. Merino wool also has a more classy look to it than lambswool. Merino wool can also be used for greater temperature ranges.
