Hello everyone.I am going to install a satellite downlink(opensky) at my home, i need to know what satellite dish should i preffer. Fiber or Aluminium?which is better and why it is better.
Depends I mean aluminium is good it's a conductor so you get more connectivity etc. On the other hand fiber is cheaper SURELY no rust and lighter (if that matters) now it s your choice.
I would choose fiber since I'm near the water.

Aluminum. Lightweight, Durable. Its a metal so its way more reflective (good for sattelites) and it would stand up to weather better.
