Answer:

I have no name for this recipe 1 pound ground beef 1 package of Ore Ida O'Brien Hashbrowns 2 cans of Campbell's Creamy Onion Soup (You can use Cream of Mushroom if you prefer.) Brown the beef and drain Semi-thaw hashbrowns by sticking them in a colander and run cold water over them, or just thaw them in the fridgePut the cooked beef in the bottom of a Dutch Oven or casseroleLay the hashbrowns on topPour the 2 cans of soup on top ( Do not add water to the soup.) CoverBake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, maybe longer if you have a slow oven like mine Another suggestion is to use frozen vegetables instead of cannedThat way you can adjust the number of servingsI just open up a bag, get out what I want, tie the bag shut, and stick it back in the freezerHere's a great soup recipe: Cheesy Vegetable Soup 4 chicken bouillon cubes 1 quart water 1 cup diced celery 1 cup diced onion Cook, covered for about 20 minutesAdd: 1 (16 oz.) package frozen mixed vegetables 3 to 3 ? cups cubed raw potatoes 1 cup diced carrots ( if the frozen veges you buy don't have carrots) Cook, covered, until vegetables are tenderAdd: 2 cans Cream of Chicken soup ( undiluted) 1 pound cubed Velveeta cheese Heat until the cheese is meltedThis makes 3 quarts of soup And last another soup recipeKielbasa Soup Ingredients: 1 carton chicken broth ( I used 3- 14 ozcans.) ? package of Kielbasa Celery – diced, around a cup Carrots – sliced, what looks good to you Onion- diced, around a cup or so 1 can Great Northern white beans, undrained ? bag shredded cabbage Cut up Kielbasa into bite-sized piecesSauteAdd carrots, onion, and celerySaute for about 5 minutesAdd brothSimmer until carrots and celery are semi-softThen add the beans and the cabbageContinue to simmer until vegetables are soft I know it takes some prep, but these are dishes you can eat all weekI know because I have done it!
Make a pot of chili or soup so you can eat that for a few days without having to cookChange it up each night by having a different bread with it such as cornbread, garlic bread, bread sticks, or tortilla chips with the chiliHave chopped green onions and tomatoes with sour cream and cheese for your chiliJust because you're single doesn't mean you have to deprive yourself from cooking something good just for you.
One of the best things you can do for yourself is go to the cold section (not the freezer) and buy ready cooked meats such as pot roast with gravy, meat loaf, pork chops, chicken, and many moreJust pop the entire container in a microwave and you have a great meat meal in a few short minutesThey are so goodGo to the freezer department and buy Boston Market's mashed potatoesTakes a few minutes in the microwave, stir real good for a better tasteSW sweet potatoes have brown sugar added and come in a canCanned vegetables are quick and easyFrozen vegetables are quick too and some come covered in cheese, some covered in saucesFrozen dinners such as Stouffer's are delicious! They have three different lines and they are all goodBoston Market and Marie Calendar have good frozen dinners tooGrocery stores and delis all have fresh roasted chickens that they cook in the storeYum-yum, they are gooooodWhile you are in the deli, pick up some potato saladPick up a couple or three canned fruits such as pears or figsMakes a good dessertBlueberries over ice cream is greatPolish sausage in a package found in the cold sectionRead directions on package for microwaveGood with canned baked beans, canned corn, or mashed potatoes, and a vegetableContinue to next post for cooking in a microwave.
Even though I'm not a single guy, I still like cheap, long lasting food :) I like to make quesadillasI season and brown about a pound of chicken with onion, green pepper and garlic and shred it when it coolsShred some cheese (I get queso cheese, it is on the pricey side but it's Worth it)Put a little re-fried beans on a tortilla with the chicken and the cheese, fold that in half and put it in my quesadilla maker (I used to use my George Foreman grill) and heat it for about 3-4 minsI like to dip mine in sour cream, but my husband likes ranchAbout a pound of chicken makes around 6-8 quesadillas, but if I were single I'd only make 1 or 2 at the time and put the rest up for later eatingAfter you get the chicken cooked and the cheese prepared it's quick and easy to assemble and heat them.
Formaldehyde: proven to cause cancer Mercury: toxic, often fatal in fairly small doses Aluminum: Fairly benignOnly slightly worse than dirt but I still wouldn't inject either into a vein.
