I think you are asking for examples of rocks that are composed essentially of only one mineral. Gypsum, dolomite, marble, peridotite, anorthosite, carbonatite, limestone, quartzite, dunite to name a few.
They are all a pain in the butt. I wouldn't get one at all. Unless you enjoy being awakened at 4AM by a cat on your roof.
