Seriously, why would his cabinet appointments come as a surprise for the most part? He is liberal, but not a far-left liberal, just a little more liberal than Clinton. Far-left liberals like Kucinich get weeded out in the primaries. Yes, Obama will bring change from the Bush administration, just not radical change.People are acting like Obama's cabinet was suppose to consist of Oprah Winfrey, Shaft, Dolomite, Blackula, Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright. So who did you seriously think was going to be part of Obama's cabinet?
Well, since none of Obama's friends could pass the scrutiny required by his job application, we knew there wouldn't be any friends chosen. [Come to think of it, Obama couldn't pass either, he might have to unseal some documents!] Interesting, he may be the first president who can't hire even one of his friends for a job. Since those radical, corrupt associates are all he knows, he had to rely on those that served the Clinton's. Quite telling, I think. Lots of egos involved in his selections, and they are all more experienced for sure. Can't wait to hear the leaks start coming out about his incompetence.and Hillary will be right there to watch over his on the job training. He is going to be a retorical joke.
Actually he is considered one of the most far left members of the senate along with Biden. So you are correct, there would be no reason to be surprised at who he chooses. It would be more surprising if he were to choose moderate individuals, and plans that would actually assist this nation.
