Why are the fire engines at airports a different shape then other fire engines?

Answer:

I do not know I have never figured out how riding a sport bike in shorts and flip flops with sunglasses and a loud header was safe.
It's the coolness factor PS: why not a ques on why the half helmets? PPS: Magnz- disappointed, today u seem almost rational lol
well I do think loud pipes would alert other drivers that a motorcycle is around but that was the first time I heard that one. I'm sure loud pipes have saved lives but helmets and gear do to.
The bones/artifacts that you found have absolutely no connection to the lighting striking your house. But I'll admit, thats kinda creepy. Anyways, you mentioned that you lived out in the country, meaning houses are scattered around and not packed like the city. What could be happening is that the metal around your house is attracting the lightning
For you folks that swear that loud pipes get peoples attention, consider a freight train. Their horn is much louder than any bike exhaust and their headlight is brighter and people STILL pull out in front of them. Why? Because they aren't paying attention to what's going on around them.Thinking loud pipes get you noticed by other people gives one a false sense of security, and that's something that will get you killed. And to think your pipes blasting out 100db behind your bike is going to be heard by someone inside their closed car with their 500 watt stereo blaring at 100db is pure foolishness. Thinking that is a sure fire way to get your name in the obituary.
