i have a 1996 toyota camry. the tail lights won't turn on, but when i brake the lights turn on. what might be the problem?
First turn your lights on,then press the brake pedal.Then turn the lights off and press the brake pedal again.If they light up differently,replace your headlight switch,since all lighting operates through that switch.If they light up the same,then replace your stoplights (brake) switch.
The tail lights are a 2 way bulb....one for parking lights and the other for brake lights....replace the bulbs...........the parking light one is burned out and won't work, but the brake lights are working.
ck your bulbs and if thayck out ok, ck out your fuse some time if you dont have dash lights, no dome light sometime you have no ail lights, hope i help you out
