Question:

Why didn't my key lime plant fruit?

I bought a key lime plant on okorder back in 2005. As time went on, it grew and grew, until it was over a foot tall and only occasionally needed water to keep the leaves bright. But it never produced a single fruit, or a flower. I don't get it. I mean, it was super-healthy (I got rid of it, because I wanted to use the pot)... just no fruit. What did I do wrong, or not do right?

Answer:

I like limes and sometimes they are cheaper. Most folks like lemonade however.
I live in Florida. Limes are 4 for a dollar, lemons are 2 for a dollar. They all come from Mexico, I think.
I get lemons 2 for $1.00, and I get limes 4 for $1.00.... Limes are smaller though, so I think you could make either limeade or lemonade, it would probably equal out to be the same price. They have different tastes though, so it's really your preference. I make my own lemonade and it tastes so good! have fun!
yes, but limes in lemonade is really good, so buy both:)
