No. It was probably either a type A or type B extinguisher and there is nothing in them that could get you high. Some of the older ones could get you dead, though. Many years ago, I was inspecting a boat that had a carbon tetrachloride extinguisher. I told the owner to replace it. Not the sort of thing for use in an enclosed space, like the cabin of a boat.
