It is proven fact that the CF have the best trained soldiers as a whole military than any other country. Sure, other countries have separate divisions of military that may be better trained than our soldiers, such as other spec op divisions, but our training surpasses any other military training in the world and our entire military gets that training, we're better.
You live in a Fantasy World... The Canadians have not fielded a fully trained Army since before WW I... Most of their Combat Training has always been OJT Any Real Combat Officers are always thrown out as they are not Politically Correct... That is why those CDN Soldier ended up DEAD after shooting at a low flying Fighter/Bomber at night... (The Enemy doesn't have Aircraft...) No Officer/SNCO/NCO Leadership or Discipline... Your Politicians got those Kids KILLED... Under Funded/Under Trained... Up until then everyone thought it was a friggen Bloody game... OH: I am an EX Army Paratrooper...
Canadas military is NOT better trained than every other country in the world. This is the most oblivious and biased statement iv'e ever read. In my OPINION, US is first, then China, then South Korea, then United Kingdom, the list continues. Now keep in mind, I have nothing against Canada, they have assisted us in many conflicts and have been a great ally. I have even been on military bases in Canada myself. But I just think your statement is completely ridiculous.
Does Canada have silos that can launch nukes across half the globe? (do they even have nukes?) The US does.
Who said we were godd for war all around? US has excellent troops but US aims more in airforce, marines, etc. Both US and Canada troops are good fighters coming from me. People who say we arw better probably talking about how much firepower our guns have... And NO, Canada is not better and neither is US. Also, Canada dosnt have the best training in the world. Dont be selfish.
For starters...SHOW us your proven fact. Last I checked there was no internationally recognized body or standards that rated military forces or their training. Second...having worked with the CF...a LOT (I was a cross border training liaison for 3 years) I can attest to the fact of their competence and professionalism. In fact you put a CF Soldier and a US Soldier in the same uniform doing the same military job and you wouldn't even notice a difference. You can attach a US unit to a CF unit or vice verse and plan and conduct operations without a hitch. Seen it happen many times, both training and combat.
