Why do people wear safety goggles when they are shooting in target practice at the range?

Answer:

I consider you must do the matters wherein you're well and if you're particularly in making a song then you definitely must supply significance for your making a song to not performing that you consider uncomfortable. You even have skills of making a song then maintain on working towards.
Having sailed all my life, I can tell you this: If the lightning is to strike in a circle of a radius equal to the height of an aluminum mast, it will hit the mast. If the mast is earthed, i.e. in electrical contact with the sea water, it will hit it if lightning strike within a radius of one and half the height of the mast. The idea with a sailboat is that the lightning doesn't hit the mast and, therefore, it should be isolated from sea water. On the other hand, should it be hit, you want the electricity to run as easily as possible to the ground (sea water). The usual way to do this is to have a thick copper plate between the foot of the mast and a keel bolt, with a very thin gap. The gap isolate the mast but is easily jumped by the bolt, should it strike. I also jog, three times a week, and I wouldn't do it during a thunderstorm. But, if I was; I wouldn't hesitate to do it under a high voltage power line. In fact, I jog in the nearby forest and, for a short distance, it also follows a high voltage power line. The theory of the lines working as a semiconductor seems very strange. I am also a radio amateur and, from what we learned and practice, I don't see how it could happen. Power lines bring alternative current (60 Hz in the US and 50 Hz in Europe). The alternative field induces an alternative current in surrounding objects, just like a condenser does. But the effect is to the square of the distance and I don't understand how it could affect the lightning. I have an Implanted Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD) which forbids me to go through security gates at airports. I am even asked not to use a cell phone on the left side of my body. Yet, nothing is said about high voltage power line proximity. Incidentally, the reason I jog is to try to repair the harm I have done to my heart after half a century of sex, drugs and rock roll! :-)
