why do some gum companies use a foil based wrap, while others use a paper based wrap, for the inner liner ???

dose this really make a difference , i have noticed no difference in the taste from either , what do you think,, please enlighten me on you thoughtsGUM IS GUM , RIGHT ???!!!.

Answer:

I think the paper is cheaper and used as a cost save over the aluminum foil.
